I need to make some small changes to how colors are passed on in hybrids. I will try to never make too many changes but being that this is a game it can be hard not to make any.
Most folks are not going to even notice but in the future hybrids secondary and tertiary colors are going to draw differently from the color pool. I'm finding my original method is getting a little out of control in the potential to produce ridiculous amounts of colors on one gryph which actually can have an effect of making some of them a bit garish in the potential future.
Starting now, there are a number of features that share a color pool with the secondary or tertiary when used in hybrid crosses, hooves are an example (minus some of those from demons).
Most people would probably never have noticed but in efforts of full transparency I figure I'll mention it now in case people notice a discrepancy with the earliest hybrids.
I can't imagine this affects anyone's breeding plans!

Yeah, I can see it. Sol and Vapor were insane in how many colors they had on them!
So in the hybrids flicka and I did, does that mean the plating on her plains and the spines on my prowler shared a color pool for the spikes of the babies?

Yep! Though in truth the spines from the prowler simply modified the plating, much like the smoulder spines did in Kardi's kogrr crosses a while back, so it was moot =) But in some cases, wings may match hooves, horns plating, etc IF it draws from that pool. Before I was a little more liberal with adding new colors and I was worried about what would happen if that continues =X

Hahha! No, I like this idea. Nothing says oh no like a ton of rolled orange against neon pink and green when you don't expect it thank youuuu!
